Lure of MECCG X
Program
It will be the 10th time, that many fanatic MECCG players will meet at a castle in the middle
of Germany to yield to their passion as much as they can. For this anniversary you can expect
some special things and surprises. Of course there will be the regular program with tournaments
like Dragon Hunt, Cool Play, Scenarios and games with new-developed
card expansions. The (in)famous Drinking Game is
indispensable, also many traditional tourneys like Sealed and Constructed. Just have a look
at the program (which wont be in its final shape till 6 weeks
before the event!)
Players will come from all directions of this planet, so bring all your trading stuff and take
the chance for some good trading! Sure it is worth to be one among 150 players from all over the
world!

Where
Castle Stahleck: This castle lies in the small town Bacharach; that's in the middle
of Germany, some 50 km south of Koblenz and 50 km west of Mainz. Have a look at

Castle Stahleck!

Costs
Depending on the room between 65 and 84 euro (per person for the whole weekend).
There are rooms with 2, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9 beds (many of them with shower/toillette
in the room). You'll get more detailled informations when registering. Be quick to
register, cause those who are first will get the most wanted rooms! The price
includes accomodation with breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as the general fee
for playing.

Registration
Use the registration formular. I will answer attaching the list of available rooms.
Tell me, which room you would like to have. After transferring the money your
registration is completed. You may transfer the money to a german or austrian account;
also paypal is available, but there are additional 4 euro for fees.
The period of registration starts on the 27th October 2009. Places are limited, so it
might be good to register soon. If you transfer the money till 21st of November, you'll get
a discount of 5 euro.

How to get there
By car: Driving on the German Highway A61, you take the exit named 'Rheinböllen'.
From there you go on in direction to Bacharach. You reach Castle Stahleck via
Bacharach-Steeg. There are many parking slots next to the castle.
Railway: Bacharach lies on the railway track Mainz - Koblenz. From the station
to the castle it's a walk of 20-30 minutes. If you want, someone will fetch you from
the station.
By plane: There are three big airports in the near: Köln/Bonn, Düsseldorf,
Frankfurt. You will find good train connections to Castle Stahleck from all of them.
Köln/Bonn: about 2 hours for 29 euro (or more).
Düsseldorf: about 2 and a half hour for 24 euro (or more).
Frankfurt: about 1 hour for 15 euro (or more).
